Revolut Revolution Rolls On after Thriller with Mastercard

It was the most hotly anticipated game of matchday 4. Free scoring Revolut top of the league with 3 wins from 3 against an impressive and unbeaten Mastercard side.

What transpired certainly lived up to expectations and will live long in the memory of FFC fans. Revolut took an early lead in the opening couple of minutes. Mastercard bounced back shortly after, and truthfully this was an accurate reflection of how the game panned out for the most part. It was a great game for the neutral, with lots of quality on display from both sides, and some even better finishes. Fraccolli of Revolut of Mastercard's Dhillon seemed to be key men for their teams both pulling the strings and finding the back of the net at regular intervals.

Revolut did manage to open up a 3 goal lead in the second half, but a long-range screamer from Baron Gracias inside his own half brought Mastercard back into the game. A goal worthy of winning any game, but unfortunately for Gracias, it only turned out to be a consolation, as a third hat trick in three games from Italo Fraccolli ensured that Revolut continued their winning streak.

Mastercard never gave up, throwing everything at the Revolut defence which held strong in the closing minutes of the game. There was time for one more goal in the game, a sucker punch from Leal on the counter to double his sides lead and put the game beyond doubt.

Revolut will be relived to come away with 3 big points and Mastercard will be left to rue a missed opportunity to make a big statement in the league.

Next up for Revolut is a date with the inconsistent but free scoring Checkout team in matchday 5, another win would give them one hand on the trophy!

Final Score: Revolut 7 vs 5 Mastercard

Man of the Match: Sergio Dhillon
